Cottontail Cottage - Design Inspiration

Hi Friends!

Today I thought it might be fun to share a little bit of the inspiration behind a favourite design of mine. Cottontail Cottage was one of my Easter releases this year and is a fictitious place. However, it is inspired by a whimsical location that is just a 20 minute drive from my home.

Milner Gardens is a stunning local attraction in an ancient forest by the sea. It has a mystical, tranquil feeling to say the least. Some might even call the grounds magical. To walk in the gardens there and to smell the sea air is to feel as though you’ve escaped every burden in this world.

I imagined, if I were to mix this lovely place with Easter decor…… and this is the finished product. :)

Here is a little piece of my community and the real cottage that inspired this DIY Easter Sign Cut File.
